"You helped me see the light
when I was in a dark, dark place"

About Suzanne

Suzanne Raitt Profile.jpg

As someone who has experienced numerous challenges and major life transitions, I know this thing we call 'life' can be hard to navigate.  For full transparency, I have faced situations where I have felt hopeless, depressed, anxious, unloved, misunderstood, trapped, with no clear path forward, and no hand reaching out to guide, hug, or save, me.

These personal experiences, and my journey through them, are what pulled me towards my second career in Psychotherapy. You may have felt these same emotions or others, however your situation is as unique as you are and there is no one-size-fits-all. I would be honoured to be able to walk beside you, to work through your concerns towards your specific goals, implementing your values and beliefs.

About Rachel

Rachel Profile pic.jpg

As a mother of two young children I know how easily we can slip into overwhelm.  As a former Child and Youth Worker I have a deep appreciation for the developmental needs of children and parents at all stages of life.

For over two decades I have been dedicated to exploring mental health and counselling. I have been in the role of client and counsellor and know the deep, life changing work that can happen within this dynamic.

I have found that people come to counseling at different stages in their lives for a whole host of reasons. Regardless of what is making you consider counseling at this time I want to assure you that you are not alone. I view the counseling relationship as a co-creative dynamic between an expert (you!) and a compassionate and non-judgmental guide (the counselor). While I have no experience living your unique and complex life, I do bring to the relationship a map and tools to help you navigate the different emotional terrain you may find yourself. Together we will work to draw out your natural and learned strengths, and tap into your inner wisdom to help move through this difficult season of your life
